Toad Hall is a secluded traditional pine log cabin with garden to side and front of the property,  Set within 2.5 acres of Buckland Park, Bantham, you can only enjoy the peace and tranquillity this valley location provides.  The Buzzards soaring and the stream rippling make this location very special and an experience that you will want to enjoy time and time again.  Toad Hall is one of five privately owned cabins at this site but each is well positioned to give privacy.  The South facing front garden is a real sun trap so you can lay back and enjoy the sun while soaking in the marvellous scenery within the valley.  Or go on one of the several walks directly from the site.  And with Bantham Beach just 1.5mls down the road you are spoilt for choice!

The mentioned  stream preambles through the bottom of the valley fairly near to the property.  It is not obvious so parents with small children should take care.  Nevertheless, the sound of moving water is guaranteed to enhance the relaxing environment that Toad Hall provides.

Toad Hall offers accommodation for four persons with one double and one twin bedrooms.  There is a well appointed shower room with power shower, toilet and sink and likewise the kitchen has cooker, hob, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave and all the necessary crockery and cutlery.  The remaining area offers  a lounge/dining area. The latter is fitted in such a way that the furniture and chairs can be stored away to leave a good size area for the kids to play on the wetter days.  To the rear of this area is the lounge complete with sofas, feature fire, TV, Video and DVD plus Sky provided along with a selection of videos, books and board games.  On top of this we provide a ‘Welcome Basket’ of initial essentials such as bread and milk.

So to the gardens.  To the side there is a private fenced garden complete with BBQ and seating.  A shed stores the leisure furniture which you may make use of.  To the front there is a sizeable decking area, ideal for breakfast and evening meals.

All-in-all, Toad Hall provides an excellent centre to explore the South Hams area.  Dartmoor, Salcombe. Kingsbridge, and Dartmouth to name but a few places are all within easy reach.  Plymouth is just 30 minutes away and has masses to offer and, you must visit the Sloop Inn in Bantham where the food is excellent and the local store come café offers a good selection of day-to-day items.

Toad Hall is available 12  months of the year.  Even during the winter months beaches such as Bantham are fantastic places to fly kites or walk the dog. If you love surfing, bird watching, walking or just reading a good book Toad Hall is the place for you.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.
